Terms of use

These terms apply when you use DeskConvert. By uploading a file or sending a message, you agree to them. They were last updated on 8 October 2026.

The service

DeskConvert converts files you upload and gives you a download. It is free and does not require an account. A single upload can be up to 80 MB. The service is provided as available. A conversion can fail if a file is damaged, encrypted, or in a format the tool does not support.

Your files

You must only upload files you have the right to convert. You are responsible for the contents of those files. Do not upload anything illegal, anything that invades someone’s privacy, or anything you are not allowed to copy.

No warranty

Converted files are provided as a convenience. Check the result before you rely on it. DeskConvert is not liable for lost data, a failed conversion, or how you use the downloaded file.

Acceptable use

Do not attack the site, probe it for access you were not given, overload it with automated traffic, or try to break the converter. Abuse can result in the service being blocked for that source.

Changes

These terms can be updated by posting a new version on this page. The privacy policy explains how uploads and messages are handled.
