Privacy policy

This policy describes what DeskConvert does with information when you use the converter or the contact form. It was last updated on 8 October 2026.

Files you convert

When you convert a file, it is uploaded to this server so the converter can read it and build the result. The upload and the result are stored only in a temporary folder for that job. That folder is deleted as soon as the download is sent, including when the conversion fails. DeskConvert does not keep a library of your documents and does not ask you to sign in.

Contact messages

If you write through the contact form, the name, email address, and message you submit are saved so the message can be read and answered. Do not send passwords or file contents you do not want stored.

Server logs

The web server may record the usual technical details of a visit: IP address, browser type, date, time, and the page requested. Those logs are used to keep the site running and to diagnose errors. They are not sold.

Cookies and advertising

The converter itself does not require an account cookie. If advertising is added later, the advertising partner may set cookies to measure and display ads. You can control cookies in your browser. This policy will be updated before third-party advertising cookies are used.
